               So, this is going to be my final blog post, so I hope you enjoy! So this time, I was supposed to tell a short summery of what we read and write down some of the key points.

Summary:
             Once leaving her grandparents at the hospital, Sal has driven by herself to where she has been travelling to for days. After a continuous drive by the mountain side where she could have fallen to her doom,  she stops at a viewing site where she crawls under the fence that had been put up. She stumbles down the slope to see the wrecked bus that had crashed years before on the swiveling road. Not a trace of what she was looking for was found. At dawn, she is finally back up to where she parked her grandpa's car and is met by the sheriff. After hearing Sal's story, the sheriff drives her over to Long wood, her mothers grave. She see's her mothers grave, kisses the willow tree near by and faces the truth about her mother. She would never come back. She is surprisingly not arrested, but instead, given a light warning and is brought to her grandparents once again. Happiness does not last long when Salamanca's grandma is heard to have died that morning at 3:00 AM. She see's the love letter that her grandpa had written for her grandma. Sal now returned back to Bybanks where once lived, and no longer catches fish in the air. Her friends Phoebe, Ben, and Mrs. Cadaver and her mother are going to visit. Peace is in the air.

Key points:

1. My first key point is on page 264, when Sal has arrived between her and Lewiston, and she stumbles to the wrecked bus. I chose this because it's when the story starts off from where we read, and it's a really dramatic and sad part when Sal arrives and searches the bus for any signs of her mother.
2. This one is on page 267, when Sal goes to see her mother's grave. This is finally the moment when Sal accepts the truth of her mother never returning, and it really made me almost cry. It seemed that it just was an important part in the story, as seeking her mother was the whole point of the trip.
3. The third key point is on page 272, which was Sal's explanation of why she didn't believe the truth. I thought this part was toughing and really gripped me into the story, hearing about the whole bus crash, and how she felt.
4. Grams death on page 272 - 273, along with Gramps love letter is really touching, and the letter may not seem like an important part in the story, but it pulls you back to the middle of the story when Grams talks about her only love letter.
5. This last one is on page 279, when Sal receives Ban's poem and sends one back, along with everyone coming to visit is the end and a happy/sad ending. I really enjoyed this part, and wish that the other key points were as joyful. 

Connector - Cody Fritz

This time my job was to find connections between the book, Walk Two Moons, and the outside world.  I do not have too many connections though because we only read 17 pages.  This will be my last blog post because we finished all the 280 pages of the book.  I have four connections and they are:

1. PG 264 PARA 2
Sentence: Wet with dew, straggly branches slapped and scratched at my legs and hid uneven ground so that several times I tripped, tumbling and sliding downward.

Connection: When I went hiking at Avala or even anywhere else, the same thing happened to me.

2. PG 269 PARA 2
Sentence: Not even on Gramps's farm?

Connection: I have driven a Gator (vehicle) on a farm before.

3. PG 274 PARA 3
Sentence: She had a grand headache.

Connection: I have had a massive headache before that it was hard for me to see and think.

4. PG 279 PARA 3
Sentence: I miss my mother.

Connection: I have lost a loved one before.
